For this year’s Client Appreciation Event, we wanted every element to be a meaningful moment. So, our tablescapes featured Hester & Cook<\/a> and Amelia’s Flowers<\/a> among other meaningful, creative touches.<\/h6>\n\n\n\n

As we move into the holiday season (yay and<\/em> how in the world?), I\u2019ve been thinking a lot about the hospitality and experiential content we taught at this year\u2019s Client Appreciation Event<\/a>. Our teachings came from Dan and Chip Heath\u2019s Power of Moments<\/a><\/em>. And if I had to breifly summarize the book, I\u2019d describe it as a how-to guide for creating moments that matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For our purposes, we focused on moments that matter in your business. But as I\u2019ve been internalizing and practicing these concepts, I can\u2019t help but naturally start applying them to my life too. When Dana<\/a> taught her section, she told us about some advice she received before her son\u2019s first Christmas: \u201cYou get to<\/em> create the magical moments that matter during the holidays.\u201d Receiving that advice reframed everything for her: she puts so much effort into the sweet, kiddo details because she wants<\/em> to, not because she has to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
